David O'Boyle, founder of Aardvark Woodcraft, Inc. began his career as a cabinetmaker in 1985, in his hometown of San Jose, California. Today, more than three decades later, he continues to follow his passion and hone his craft. David obtained his specialty Contractor's License for Cabinetry, Millwork and Finish Carpentry in the year 2000. He has extensive knowledge and expertise in the installation of box beam ceilings, wainscot and wall paneling systems and interior trim packages. He's worked in some of the Bay Area's most prestigious homes as well as Napa Valley wineries and numerous hotels, assisted living facilities and financial institutions throughout the Bay Area and Greater Sacramento area.
David started Aardvark Woodcraft, Inc. in 2011. Aardvark Woodcraft Inc. is a small, boutique company that focuses on quality, rather than quantity. We specialize in the manufacture and installation of custom cabinetry, bookcases, home offices, studies, libraries, floating shelves, custom closets, wine storage solutions, commercial casework, store fixtures, specialty woodworking and architectural millwork. We also provide live-edge benches, tables and other fine furniture for those who want a truly unique "one-off" piece.

We partner with General Contractors, Architects, Interior Designers and Homeowner's directly. We can work from an existing design or we can assist you in the design process to come up with a plan that fits your specific needs and works to meet your exact specifications. We work closely with our clients to develop and nurture their ideas and concepts, from conception to installation.
We utilize and embrace the benefits of modern technology, things like computer design software and CNC machining, but still rely on hands-on traditional craftsmanship to ensure consistent quality in everything we build.
